Dean Wilson Finishes Arena Cross Brazil Season as Vice Champion

Dean Wilson Finishes Arena Cross Brazil Season as Vice Champion

The 2026 Arena Cross Brazil season came to an exciting conclusion at the iconic Autódromo de Interlagos in São Paulo, where Dean Wilson once again proved why he is one of the most respected names in professional motocross.

Racing in front of a packed crowd during Festival Interlagos, Wilson entered the final round with the championship still within reach. The pressure was high, the competition was fierce, and every point mattered.

A Strong Finish Under Pressure

The final night began with Wilson showing his speed immediately. In the Super Pole, Dean put his JP Racing Honda into second place, earning valuable championship points and keeping the title fight alive.

In the opening PRO race, Wilson finished third while championship rival Enzo Lopes took the win. The result gave Lopes enough points to mathematically secure the 2026 Arena Cross Brazil championship.

But Dean wasn't finished.

With the championship decided, Wilson came back swinging in the final race of the season. He delivered a statement performance, taking the victory and closing out the championship with a win.

It was the perfect way to finish a hard-fought season.

Vice Champion of Arena Cross Brazil

When the final points were tallied, Dean Wilson finished second overall in the PRO championship with 160 points, just behind Enzo Lopes, who captured the title with 180 points. Greg Aranda completed the championship podium in third with 143 points.

For Wilson, the result represents another impressive chapter in his Arena Cross career. Throughout the season, he consistently battled at the front, including a dominant performance at Jundiaí where he won the overall round after taking victories in two of the three PRO races.

Speed, Determination and Experience

Dean's 2026 campaign was a perfect example of what it takes to compete at the highest level of motocross.

Even when things didn't go according to plan, Wilson continued pushing. At Jundiaí, for example, he recovered from a first-lap crash in the second race to charge all the way back to second place before winning the final race of the night.

That determination carried through to the championship finale.

From the first gate drop to the final checkered flag, Dean Wilson brought the speed, aggression and consistency that fans have come to expect from him.
